Cooperation of dSPACE and VEMAC
In cooperation with VEMAC GmbH, a specialist in the field of piezo technology, dSPACE is now offering vehicle-capable power stages for the model-based function development of piezo injection systems. The PZAmp power stage box developed by VEMAC is connected to dSPACE’s prototyping systems MicroAutoBox and RapidPro to enable the flexible control of up to six piezo injectors.
Common piezo injector systems from the manufacturers Bosch, Continental, Delphi and Denso are supported. PZAmp can be conveniently configured straight from the Simulink® model by using the dSPACE RTI blockset. Ready-made cable harnesses make it especially easy to connect to the dSPACE prototyping systems. Other special features of the new power stages are that users can measure current and voltage behaviors with MicroAutoBox II at a high resolution, and also influence valve opening times in real time. All this provides much greater freedom for investigating new injection behaviors when developing combustion processes.
