Application Area
CalDesk‘s Prototyping Module lets you access the dSPACE rapid prototyping platforms MicroAutoBox and DS1005 PPC Board. This means that you can use CalDesk for rapid prototyping as well as for measurement, ECU calibration, and diagnostic tasks. CalDesk even lets you handle all scenarios in parallel, which is useful in tasks such as bypassing ECU functions.

Key Benefits
The CalDesk Prototyping Module lets you work with dSPACE prototyping systems in the same way as with ECUs. Measurement data from prototyping platforms, ECUs, the vehicle bus, etc., is correlated on a common time base and time drifts are prevented by periodic synchronization. The Prototyping Module also lets you change calibration parameters on both ECUs and prototyping systems in parallel and flash new data sets without code recompilation.
In addition, you can upload flight recorder data from the MicroAutoBox and the DS1005 PPC Board. Both platforms are interfaced in CalDesk via Link Boards.
